Bone Armor Information

The issue I see with Bone Armor and Damage Reduction in special cases makes a challenge in calculation of Damage received. In theory only Bone Armor's depletion makes Damage Reduction, integral or percentage-wise, active.

I see this an active issue in PvP where Barbarians with Grief hit a Necromancer with a low-level Bone Armor only to deplete the Armor on the first attack. (The next attack, however, is deadly).

Let us say we have exactly 100 Bone Armor, and a monster attacks us with 100 damage. Thus, no damage reduction should occur, and Bone Armor is depleted.

Say we have 100 Bone Armor, and a monster hits us with 120 damage. Now will damage calculation be done sequentially, where 100 is subtracted first then the remaining 20 damage reduced by 8%, or it will hit a loop exception where the entire 120 is reduced by 8% and thus the damage received is significantly less than 20? The order of calculations and the game code is required at hand.

We still do not whether there is partial reduction while Bone Armor is on and Damage Reduction occurs during unique cases, even though we know that Damage Reduction occurs after Bone Armor is depleted in theory; few to none have access to the game code. If someone points out that Bone Armor absorption always comes after Bone Armor is depleted; then he is simply misreading this entry.
